The ledger is the horizontal tube of a cuplock scaffold. A forged iron blade at each end locks into the cups on the vertical standards, so no nuts or bolts are needed. JBFS supplies ledgers in light, medium and heavy types, in lengths from 500 mm to 2500 mm. They tie the verticals into bays and carry the working platform. Finish is red oxide paint or hot dip galvanising.
